Short hitters need to navigate three bunkers on the right side, and a few trees to the left. The long hitter can bomb it over a hill and can easily pick up an additional 50 yards of roll. If the second shot is played from the top of the hill with a mid-iron or even a wood, you need to be concerned with the valley to the right of the green which is defined as a lateral water hazard. But the long driver has his own problem even if he has only 100 yards or less into the green, the fairway slopes severely, and fat pitches are the norm here, rather than the exception. The green cants from back left to front right, and has subtle slopes that make a proper read a must.
