The tee shot is played uphill over a rise, and is framed by trees on the left and right. Any drive played into the right trees will inevitably cavort with the automobiles on Highland Road, and a shot that lands in the middle of the fairway will be in the right rough. If the tee shot isn't carried at least 200 yards, the second shot will be blind. A large bunker and a valley guards the right side of the green and should you hit the slope to the left, you will likely be in the bunker stretching the length of the green. The green is long and slopes from back to front.
